INSIST ON A HOME INSPECTION!

It is very important for you as a home buyer to know what you are buying.

  • Plumbing conditions-if there is leakage or clogging
  • Roofing condition-the extent of deterioration, if there is leakage
  • Electrical conditions-if there are inadequate circuits or potential fire hazards
  • Structural problems-if there are problems with the underlying foundation of your home.

Every contract should contain a contingency for an inspection to the buyer approval.

  • To determine which loan program best fits your needs.
  • You will know exactly how much you are qualified for.
  • Your monthly payment.
  • If you are a first-time buyer, you may be able to qualify for a special first-time buyer program which may allow you to afford more home for your money.
